Amber has participated in the past seven MS Readathon programs, with this year being her eighth! In that time she has raised a total $3513.50 excluding this year’s effort. Helping her to raise this amount she has read 120 books for the MS Readathon.

What motivates Amber to help people living with multiple sclerosis is her aunty was diagnosed with MS seven years ago.

Amber has worked very hard to raise this money over the years she has had a stall at the Roxby Downs community markets were she has sold her preloved toys. She has also she sat at the markets reading and getting sponsors. She also emails friends and family to sponsor her online some are from overseas.

Last year Amber was in one of the top fundraisers that had also completed the Premiers Reading Challenge. She was invited to attend Parliament House for afternoon tea and tour.

Amber’s favourite book is “Once” written by Morris Gleitzman.
