Cheeky Kookaburra

Title: Cheeky Kookaburra
Author: Rebecca Johnson

We asked you all last year what your favourite wildlife books are – and this series from Steve Parish was the most popular! We especially love Cheeky Kookaburra, where a young kookaburra enjoys being the comedian of his family. But when he has something important to say, no-one takes him seriously! Kookaburras call to claim their territory, which they share with family members. The white kookaburra is an albino that Steve Parish photographed at Healesville Sanctuary in Victoria.
