Another great classic. Definitely enjoyed the journey across the English countryside with the Dalmatians
This book is about a couple and a nanny and their dogs called Pongo and Perdita. One day Perdita gave birth to fifteen puppies. As soon as Perdita gave birth the couples old friend, Cruella stormed in and demanded to buy the puppies but they told Cruella that they were not for sale. Cruella became upset and stormed off. A few moments later the couple took Pongo and Perdita for a walk and as soon as they left Cruellas co-workers came back to steal the puppies, they locked the nanny in the attic, shoved the puppies into a sack and stormed off back to the country to hide the puppies away so Cruella could make their spotted skins into a fur coat. As soon as the couple and the dogs got home the nanny told them everything. Pongo and Pedita were so upset, they decided to use a special barking code to ask all dogs for their help to find the puppies. The barking code worked and the country dogs helped to free the puppies from the old De Vil house when they got in there the dog realise the the code had said 15 puppies stolen but they had found 99. The co-workers Horace and Jasper discovered the puppies had escaped and went looking for them. When Jasper and Horace realised they couldn't find the puppies they went back to find Cruella. With the country dogs help the 99 stolen puppies had finally made it to the city and now all they had to do was find their house, meanwhile Horace and Jasper were explaining what had happened to the puppies to Cruella and she got very mad at them and went to look for them herself but by the time Cruella had gotten in her car the puppies were already safe and sound at home with their owners and their parents. I liked this book because its a family book and family books are always the best to read and always have happy endings.
