This book is about 2 boys called Andy and Terry. In each book they've done, they have added another 13 storeys to their treehouse. Terry is VERY funny and Andy is the very sensible one. In their books they solve problems and mysterious mysteries inside and outside of the treehouse. There is 143 to collect. Their books are very good. When parents read the books, or if you're old enough to read it, everyone will find it very enjoyable!! Show more Show less
This book copies last book (the 39 storey treehouse), I particularly don't like page 310 because it just a bunch of letter 'z'. The illustrations are strange. However I like the part of Vegetable Patty who destroyed all the vegetables, its really funny description. This book is full of mystery and yet blend in the comedy. Show more Show less
Terry and Andy have added 13 more stories into their treehouse. It is Andy's birthday and Terry has not remembered that it was. Andy takes Terry to the remembering machine so Terry can remember that it was.
Soon enough, Andy and Terry find out that Mr Big Nose has not rung them yet, Mr Big Nose usually rings them on near page 30 Andy and Terry phone Mr Big Nose and see that his room is all smashed and damaged like it had been robbed. They decide that they should look for Mr Big Nose. When they go into Mr Big Nose's room, trophies had been smashed as well as windows, then they look for clues and find a book about vegetables by Vegetable Patty and it is about torturing vegetables, Andy and Terry hate vegetables but even they feel poor for the vegetables! Then they find a caterpillar that is trembling on a leaf, maybe they can get Jill to talk to the caterpillar about what happened to Mr Big Nose! When they went to Jill's place there were vines everywhere around the place, so they needed to wack the vines down with sticks. When they find Jill, she is asleep on the table, even all her animals are as well. Then they find a sharp carrot on the table and then they know it might be the same as Sleeping Beauty. They then have to find a prince to kiss Jill to wake her. They travel to the nearest prince they can find, Prince Potato. They cross 1 enormous bird, 2 steamrollers, 3 rhinoceros, 4 wacky inflatable arm flailing tube men, and 5 giant mutant spiders, guess what happened you ask me? The caterpillar ate them all in one gulp! Then, they go to more along the path and meet a tomato that says "Only vegetables can pass!" Then they fight, the caterpillar then eats the tomato. They go to the vegetable kingdom, the caterpillar eats a tunnel through the wall of asparagus. They see so many vegetables, so they dress in costumes, Terry is broccoli, Andy is corn and Jill is a carrot. Prince Potato is walking by and spots Jill. Andy and Terry explain that Jill was under a curse and could only be woken by the kiss of a prince. "I shall kiss her and then immediately marry her!" Prince Potato exclaims. Jill wakes up and screams, she unzips out of her costume and everyone sees that she is a human. They seize Andy, Terry, and Jill into a dungeon. Then, that is when they meet Mr Big Nose, and he tells that the vegetables captured him because he published the Vegetable Patty book, and apparently they were upset. Then, the caterpillar eats his way through the celery jail door and crawls on the roof to make his cocoon. Then, a few vegetables take Jill, Andy, Terry, and Mr Big Nose to make human soup. They get put into the bowl to cook and die and get eaten. A few minutes later, Vegetable Patty saves the day. Later in the day, Jill and the animals make a party for Andy's birthday and he shares his birthday with Terry.
