Struggling to believe this is Stacy's first novel, because it's so good. Probably one of my favourites for the year. Wow.
Although I actually predicted what happened very early on in the book, I was not disappointed. It was twist after twist, and it all come together nicely at the end. The writing style was excellent and well thought out. The slow burn at the beginning was worth it.
I loved the characters and how they jumped off each page, the suspense, and the eerie setting.
It did lose half a star for me because I definitely think the battle between the truth and what Chloe thinks is the truth could have been portrayed in a different way, without her constant drugged-up state. But otherwise, this was great!
