A Walk In The Woods

This is an incredibly funny and entertaining novel. Bryson's witty humour will keep me reading at night for longer than expected! Although the statistical information about America's Appalacian Trail can drag on for a while, it does teach me about what it is like walking in the forest, and sets the location. The book also mentions environmental concerns about the natural environment in North America. Overall, it is a humerous and, at times, sceptical recount of Bryson's time spent in the woods!
