This is a rollicking good read!
Jazz is small time criminal, supplementing her meagre income as a porter with smuggling a few illegal goods here & there. Did I mention she also lives on the moon? Yeah, she lives on the moon. But ends never quite meet so when she's offered the chance to make some serious quick money she jumps at it. But planning the perfect crime in 1/6th gravity was never going to be easy & soon it's not just about the money, it's about survival.
It took me a little while to really get into this book. Mostly because of all the anatomy talk at the beginning. Apart from the obvious reason, you could so tell the descriptions were from a male's POV. At one point I was starting to feel like if I read the word 'boobs' one more time I was going to scream. There's also an excessive amount of profanity in it which was just unnecessary. Apart from that, the story picks up after awhile & is really good fun. I loved Jazz's ultra-smart mouth (she reminded me a bit of me, but with more four letter words lol!) There's a big twist in there that I didn't see coming either. All in all a good, fun read. The perfect story to take into the waiting room with you.Show moreShow less
