This book is very funny and action packed! I love it!
It was a great book, lengthy and kept me occupied for quite a while! I definitely recommend getting it, but I would rather get another book from David Walliams like The Ice Monster and The World's Worst Teacher's (which I have read and would rate five stars.) Show more Show less
This was a great book filled with crazy ideas and mysteries as well as an incredible revealing of plots near the end. I highly recommend this book for kids from 7-10.
The book was really good. It's based around the war, so some things may be true, but some are made up. The characters are all good too.
This adventurous book is about two people trying to save and protect Gertrude the gorilla from danger. It is set in London 1940 WWII which makes the stories in each chapter very interesting. I learnt a lot of about life in London during the war. There are also lots of funny chapters throughout the book. The illustrations are very interesting to look at while reading. I recommend this book to 8-12 year old boys and girls who like funny and interesting stories. Show more Show less
It was a good book and when I read it it go better and better along the way, there were more adventures and more characters. My favorite character of them all was Uncle Sid who had tin legs. I was heart broken when someone got shot, but it was a false alarm. Show more Show less
I enjoyed this book a lot because there was a lot of action.
I love David Walliams and this book was fantastic! There were some sad bits but mostly it was exciting and I even learned something about World War II.
