Elmer

I love this book because it tells you all about the characters at the start and then reveals the mystery. It also tells you that you can be different and still have fun.

She loved this story & the colourful illustrations. Lots of prep sight words too.

It's really really really good because I like how Elmer the elephant is funny. I liked the story and the drawings were really pretty. I like the rainbow colors ?

This book is a great one for children as it teaches and sends massages about the importance of being an individual and having our own special qualities.

This is a great book as the illustrations are really good. We read the story and then went back through the book and discussed the colours of Elmer, where he lived, the other animals in the jungle and it opened up discussions around diversity and our own community. Show more Show less

Elmer is not like the rest of the elephants, he's patchwork coloured! He's funny, but thinks that the other elephants are laughing at the way he looks, but later realises that he should be happy with who he is, because he's special! Show more Show less
