Emerald star

Hetty is delighted when she finds her true father, but does she truly want to be there? She is fed up with all the slimey fish and googly eyes. She decides that she must go somewhere else. Hetty goes to find her first family (foster). She then travels to the country side. Any other girl would have been happy there, but Hetty was unable to bear the new routine. Same thing every day. But then Tanglefields Traveling Circus comes to town. Hetty is unable to help herself. She leaves her two brothers, Jem and Gideon and becomes the Ringmaster at the circus. Emerald star is a great book, if you do read it make sure you start of with the first book... ''hetty feather'' then you can make your way through ''clover moon'','' hetty feather's Christmas ''rose rivers'' and so on ,I think Emerald star is a sad book but you should definitely read it!
