The front desk is a true novel about a girl named Mia,and her transition from china (which she loved so much, leaving friends, family and even her school breaks her heart) to America. Her parents say it's because the country's so free. Mia doesn't understand what that mean by that, but as she starts entering her heartwarming journey, she finds friends, love and even people who start feel like family. She teaches us about the wrongness of discrimination, racism, verbal and physical abuse and the importance of showing love and respect, but always stand up for what is right and never be discouraged.
