I had to continuously remind myself that this book is a work of non-fiction. It reads so much like the lit I enjoy, and to think it’s Jennette’s true story is wild.
A few of my favourite points
- The sims on a clunky old PC reference (made me feel nostalgic)
- I don’t want to know people in context (!!!! I totally understand the want of that deep connection with people I care about and not just to be Angie from X)
- “the body is hardly a reliable reflection of what’s going on inside it” (poignant)
- “is Dwayne the rock Johnson god?” (Just made me chuckle)Show moreShow less
Very sad telling of the life of a child actor. Hard to read at times but has a happy ending.
