James and The Giant Peach is a really good book. It is very funny and full of adventure.

Loved it

In this book, I enjoyed the stories of cloud men, and how they create many natural wonders and disasters. I would've liked to know more about what happened after James and his insect friends landed on the Empire State Building. I didn't like how short the journey was from James' aunts house to New York. i loved how big the book was and i love the pictures

I really liked this book as it was a really cool adventure and it kept me interested. I recommend this book to everyone.

I loved this book, especially when James crawled through a hole inside the giant peach. There was a tiny door inside the peach and when James went through the door, there were a lot of harmless creatures inside. Show more Show less

I love how this book because of the great adventures of James and his insect friends while travelling inside a giant peach. The story is of an orphan boy who never lose hope that one day life will be happier for him. And everything came true when hecame across a mysterious ols man and his magical “seeds”. The lone peach tree produced an gigantic peach where James met some incredible insects that became his companion as yhey travel to places riding the peach. It has an exciting and funny plot. It also teaches us to never lose hope. I would love to re-read this book many times soon. Show more Show less

It was an awesome book and I really enjoyed joining James on his adventure with his friends and the Giant Peach. I even remember at some point that the book was talking so much about peaches, it even made me want to eat a peach. Show more Show less

I love the pictures and the story

A funny book and a boy with a giant peach and good for younger children :)

This is a really good book because it is written by my favourite author, Roald Dahl.

This book was adventurous you didn`t know what was coming next. I loved the end because a boy gets his appreciation he deserves. He had a tough life when something happened to his parents. 5 stars. I thought it was amazing how James grew a giant peach. The talking spider was funny.

The start of this is book is really sad but it gets better and it's can keep you guessing. This book will occupy you for a very long time.

It is great

I like this book because James and the giant bugs are adventurous and funny. I liked the time that they got into trouble with the cloud men and that it said that aeroplanes were too noisy - so the cloud men ran away, but the peach was silent. James is clever and he always has an idea. He also knows a lot of things - like that the sharks didn't do much damage to the peach because their mouths were a little way under their noses, so they couldn't get to the peach much at all.
