A person is murdered and Two people solve murder. Ms Bell is murdered in this one
This book is amazing. I am up to the 6th book in the series and I just want to read more!!!!!! (I think there’s about 10 books total) The plot is unpredictable and thrilling while still being appropriate for the pre-teen age.
The story is mainly about two teenage girls in the 1930s called Daisy and Hazel who started their own detective society. They solve all kinds of cases from lost things to MURDER… the Girls are brave and smart but may break a rule or two if it gets in the way of the truth.
The characters are really diverse. For example Hazel was born in China, George (a character met later in the series) has an Indian father and there is even LGBT+ representation. Some sad but important topics are talked about as well including racism and sexism (especially because it’s the 30s).

I wouldn’t recommend this series for kids under 10 because of the murder themes but if you are and older kid and love a good mystery READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!
…and thank me later.
