The Diamond Horse is a great read and in a way it is educational about the past.

I love the way an old lady who lived through world war2 could connect with a young girl through the bloodlines of a horse and their passion to ride.

This was the best book ever. It was about a girl that saved a baby horse and she raced with it. She also had a necklace that transported her to another world. It was exciting and emotional.
