This was an amazing book with an awesome plot. Riley, a teenage girl who was suspended from her school due to making drugged brownies with her ex best friend, had made a public fool of herself on social media. In order to turn the way people view her, he decides to sign up for a teenage reality show called Reality Gold. The contestants must compete in challenges/games in two teams, and each night, vote one or multiple people out.
There is two teams:

Team Sol:
-Willa: A social media influencer.
-Porter: An athletic funny guy who strikes an interest in Riley.
-Alex: The girl who could survive any zombie apocalypse.
Justin: Willa's boyfriend.
Murph: A ball obsessed dude with his own sports app.
Chloe: The most normal teen girl ever.
Taylor: An overreactor who makes drama out of everything.
Rohan: Total western cowboy act.
Cody: Cool dude, likes fun.
Zander: Pretty quiet chill dude.
------------------------------------------------------------
Team Huaca:
-Riley
-Maren: A goth with a sharp tongue and a sarcastic attitude.
-Maddie: A sweet innocent animal lover with a heart of a 12 year old.
-AJ: A nerd out for himself and has made it his goal to find treasure.
-London: Quiet.
-Sean: A regular athletic guy
-Lucas: A proud soccer player.
-Annika: Random girl who made a mistake, friends with London.
-Oscar: Random dude.
-Rachel: Random girl.

But this Island has a tragic past, and a hidden treasure waiting to be found, but there is a prophecy, in order to be found, seven people must die before the Island reveals it's biggest secret. Six have died already, one of them being Riley's godfather, who made it an obsession to search for the gold, resulting in his death. With what comes friendship, romance, betrayal and mystery, also comes sacrifice, and many questions. Will Riley find the treasure or will she fall the next victim to gold fever?
Find out for yourself...

The only part I'd complain about was the ending, I felt like the last chapter had so much potential, although I understand that they had to end it somehow. Again though, amazing book and amazing plot, and I definitely suggest to readers interested in mysteries, challenges, treasure and drama to read this.

This was an amazing book with an awesome plot. Riley, a girl who was suspended due to making drugged brownies with her best friend, made a public fool of herself online. In attempt to change the way she was seen, she signed up for an Island television show called Reality Gold, where the players compete in a series of challenges. Her competitors and teammates consist of Maren: A edgy and grumpy goth whose remarks are always sarcastic and sharp. Maddie: A adorable 17 year old with the heart of a 12 year old, and is obsessed with animals. AJ: A nerd who is only out for himself and has made it his goal to find this treasure. Porter: An athletic funny guy that has striked an interest in Riley. Alex: The girl who could survive any zombie apocalypse. Willa: A social media influencer. Taylor: An overreacting gossip girl. Chloe: The mist normal girl in the world. London: Quiet. Murph: A ball crazy dude, has his own app. Justin: Willa’s boyfriend. And many more. The Island in which they are filming on also has a tragic history, and a great amount of treasure ready to be found, but only once the prophecy is fulfilled; seven people must die before the Island reveals the treasure. Six have died already, one of them being Riley’s godfather, who grew so obsessed with finding the gold until it became the death of him. With new friendships being made, a bit if romance too, betrayal and more, questions emerge like never before in this mystery. Will Riley find the gold? Or will she become a victim to gold fever herself?

The only part that I was disappointed with was the ending, I felt like the last chapter had so much more potential, but then again, it was an amazing book and I’d totally read it again.
