We love this book; the rhyming and repetition makes it great for little readers to predict and learn the words. The story is super cute.
I thought about how it was funny the mouse tricked the child with his shadow
I like that the Gruffalo is scared of the big bad mouse, and when he meets the mouse it tricks him into believing that it exists. But it’s just the mouse playing a trick on him.
This is a really good story. I like how he described the mouse as really big, but it’s really small.
This was Gracie’s favourite book this week. Gracie loves the original Gruffalo story and enjoyed this addition equally as much. After reading the story we sat down to watch the animation adaptation - Gracie held the book and pointed to the characters as the story unfolded on the screen. Show more Show less
The gruffalo’s child looks for the big bad mouse. It funny that the animals eat and drink gruffalo tea and pie. The mouse makes a shadow of himself and scares the gruffalo’s child.
A popular children’s book that is now also a movie. About a brave little Gruffalo’s child and her adventures
I like this book ‘cause it’s my favourite. It’s scary because of the snake in the story. I like the gruffalo’s child.
