I have loved reading this book with my mum it has been one of my favourites and have read it for a week straight

This is my favourite book I love how much the caterpillar eats and is still hungry.

My 2 year old’s all time favourite THE HUNGRY CATERPILLAR by Eric Carle. This book taught her a lot without me as a parent being aware of it - she know the days of the week, names of fruits and different foods, counting to 7 (she knows more now but this started it all) and the life cycle of a butterfly (surprised me with that - “no mummy the caterpillar stays in a cocoon for more than 2 weeks to become beautiful butterfly”) She also revised her colours and creativity by recreating the hungry caterpillar with egg carton with her caters at day care. Such a wonderful book. She can read it word for word now. Simple and educational at the same time. Show more Show less

Great book about the life cycle of a butterfly and healthy eating

The Very Hungry Caterpillar eats everything he sees in his site. He eats his way through the week until he becomes a cocoon and eventually turning into a beautiful colourful butterfly.

This book is a great way to teach kids the life cycle of a caterpillar and its funny!

I like how the caterpillar became a beautiful butterfly after sleeping in his cocoon.
