I liked to see the main characters:Elsie and Woolly take charge. This book was very interesting as it spread over three parts. My favourite part in the book was to see Elsie escape the cruel orphanage and daringly try to take a peek at the Woolly Mammoth whilst the queen was in the museum too. Show more Show less

It was set in the olden days and it was very interesting, it was about a little girl who loved animals and was stuck in an orphanage where they were treated very badly. She ran away and lived on the streets. One day an old woolly mammoth was found dead under a sheet of ice.
She decided to give him his life back.
With the help of an old professor and the museum's cleaning lady they brought it back to life. The professor turned on them wanting it to be stuck in a cage so they ran and escaped.
They brought it back to Antarctica and set it free. Show more Show less

Lightning + cable + mammoth = alive mammoth + little girl = best friends that would die for each other.

I liked the book. I liked that there was mystery’s to be solved and that it was funny.

It’s a great book for people who don’t believe in themselves, as Elsie showed a lot of strength in getting her friend home

I enjoyed it. I laughed a lot. My favourite Part was when Wooly the Ice Monster turned the wheel on the ship and everyone fell over and Wooly fell on the captain and let out a hoooo!

this book is the best book ever!! well all of david walliams books are good to be honest. 5 out of 5. i would 100% reccomend it.

the book had a lot of humor and the book was fun to read and was not boring

When Elsie tries to bring the Ice monster back to life I was really hooked.

This book is about a 10 year old Victorian Londan orphan and an 1,000 year old woolly mammoth. My favourite part was when they set off on the HMS Victory Boat to the NORTH POLE to get Woolly The Mammoth home to his family. I thought it was impossible but their mission was succeeded. Very Interesting book and I couldn't stop reading it

The ice monster is a story about a little orphan girl who becomes friends with the ice monster, and helps free the ice monster from a cage

I love how the ice monster has great pictures and that a little girl became best friend with a mammoth but the part the got me sad was when woolly when home and Elsie never sew woolly again.

It was a very good book. It was a very interesting.

I really like this book because it was set in1899. It was about a 10 year old orphan and a 10,000 year old woolly mammoth ? . Overall this was a great story and I encourage him to make more interesting stories like it. I also like it because there were some really funny parts of it. The characters made it even more funny ?!
