I really liked the Ickabog because it was really interesting. There was some sad bits like when Major Beamish was shot by lord Flapoon but in the ending every thing turned out alright. I absolutely love this book. Show more Show less
This book is my most favorite book ever as it is jam packed with adventure and mystery. You should 100% read this book!
I was so excited when Mum pre-ordered this book last year, but it didn’t arrive until months after the Readathon.

This book would suit kids aged 10 and up. It’s really exciting and adventurous. The Ickabog is a bit different to J.K Rowlings other books.

It’s about a King who wants to be a bit less selfish and be a better king. The Ickabog is meant to be a fairytale to scare kids into behaving however it’s come to be known that the “monster” called the Ickabog is actually nice and not going to scare any kids.

Highly recommended ! I give this book 5 stars!

This book is about a few children that live in the happiest country in the world when some lords trick everybody that a myth is real and those children go on a unexpected adventure to save the land.
The Ickabog is a very descriptive book filled with excitement and dark times and through those dark times comes a new hope to guide, to help and to dream again. The detail is so descriptive that you just want to jump into the book sometimes and live there. Show more Show less
