This book is all about courage, friendship and secrets. When Clem's home gets burned down, she's got to move far away. At her new school, she meets Ellie, who quickly befriends her, to the jealousy of Ellie's best friend. I really empathised with Clem throughout the story. I really loved the twists and turns too. The ending was rather bittersweet, as I like it.

Nova Weetman’s book “The secrets we keep is an exceptional book that I would recommend to children 10 and up. This book is about 11 year old Clem Timmons and about her friends and family and most importantly about secrets. Once you read it Clem will stay with you for very long. Hope you read it. Enjoy!!
