This book is heart warming and absorbing. Once you start you won’t want to stop
really good book. one of the beat books I have ever read.
This book was one of the best books I've read. The story line got me really involved and it was hard to put down, I just wanted to keep reading until I had finished it. But when I did finished it I was sad it had come to an end. This book made me feel fearful for the characters at parts of their journey, other parts made me feel sad and the end, when they reunited with their mother I felt joy.

This book somewhat makes history fun yet is relatable. Because there are a few scary and sad parts, I would recommend this book to kids 9+. This book makes you feel many emotions.
This is a great story. The children have to survive through the war and have to survive as outcasts. I recommend this from10-13.
