I didn’t like when they put glue on the tree to catch the birds

They were very cruel, I didn’t like when they put glue on the tree for the birds.

Really funny and good easy read as well as a amazing and creative story line

It was a fairly short story so it was quick to get through for The MS Readathon. It was really funny two it was about two people:Mr twit and Mrs twit and they played evil and rude pranks on each other and they end they get beaten but the Twits pet monkeys ? and the roly-poly bird ? it was a really good book. This book is about one of the nastiest couples you could ever meet! The Twits is about two ghastly, disgusting twits. Mr. and Mrs. Twit. The absolutely hate children. They both play mean tricks on each other. Mr. Twit eats a hot bird pie every single week! He has bits of stuck in hid sharp bristly beard. Mrs. Twit on the other hand does not have a beard but does have a long walking stick. She says it's for he warts on her foot and gives her a terrible pain. I really love the Twits because they’re so cheeky and funny but not too violent!

The twits is one of my favourite books because it is very funny and gross. My favourite character is Mr Twit but I wouldn’t like to meet him in real life.

This book is very funny but at the same time it is a lot of chapters. The best part was when Mr Twit thought that Mrs Twit had the dreadful shrinks, when Mrs Twit actually didn't and he was playing a trick. They play lots of tricks. Stay tuned for the end for a twist! Show more Show less

I like reading books by Roald Dahl. They have lots of descriptive words and are funny.

"The twits" was about Muggle Wump, the leader of the monkeys and his family trying to get out of their cage. They were Mr Twits' pets and they didn't like him because he wasvnasty to them.

It is EPIC! the characters. I love How Mr. Twit and Mrs Twit play heaps of pranks on eachother. I very highly reccomend this to all age groups. It is spectacular. I can garuantee it will become in your top 10!? Show more Show less

It it’s a funny book, I read this with my mum. He has written lots of really good books.

It was funny. It had short chapters so it was easy to read. I really enjoyed reading this book.

It was a hilarious book, really good read for all ages. I really enjoyed it, and I recommend it for others. I really liked the bit when they play horrid pranks on each other.

The twits are disgusting Poeple and they keep monkeys in their backyard and kids come over to wiz it the monkeys and one day the kids got stuck in a tree then they got out of their undies and pants and the twits bought shot guns and tried to get the birds dead for bird pie I think it was funny. I think the funniest part was when the boys got out of there undies and pants and ran away. I give it a 10/10 Show more Show less

I don't really like this book at all because it's about two people are married and are twits. I don't like the tricks they played on each other.

The Twits tells the amusing story of Mr And Mrs Twit and the hilarious things they encounter. I think The Twits is one of Roald Dahl’s best books.

I loved this story it’s so silly. The pictures make me laugh and each chapter makes you want to keep reading on. There were some new words for me to discover the meaning of.

My favourite is when the crows were holding the brush dipped with hugtight glue on their feet and they swiped it on Mr and Mrs Twits' head. When Mr and Mrs twit get super sticky glue on their heads, when they go inside the house, they think they are upside down so they jump onto their heads, thinking they are the right way up. And then they shrink until they are nothing more. Show more Show less

Great book. If you love books about pranks and animals getting revenge then you will love this book.

This was a funny book. I liked it when they stood on their head and got stuck.

A funny story but I dont like that the people are so mean to each other.

This book was okay in my opinition. I surely have read better books and i surely think Roald has some better books out there. This book wasn’t too bad but it was not 10/10. If you like Roald Dahl I surely reccomend to go and read, the twits. Show more Show less

The twits is about a man and a woman who are very mean to each other. They have muggle wump monkey who do circus tricks. They have no windows in their house because Mr twit thinks people will look in and watch you.

I liked the book because it was funny. It was at times a bit scary like in the middle of the book Mrs twit has bird pie but she puts whole birds into the pie with legs sticking out. It's a good book and I will probably read it again. Show more Show less

Loved when muggle wump had an idea and put everything on the the floor that was on the roof and everuthing that was on the floor on the roof!

The Twits LOVE playing pranks on each other like...........
worms in spaghetti or toads in beds ,the glass eye and don't forget the funny walking stick. Every Wednesday they have bird pie for supper. They catch it themselves by painting their big tree with the stickiest glue in the world HUG TIGHT. One day when Mr. Twit came out to collect the birds, they were all sitting on the monkey cage Mr. Twit was furious he loved bird pie and he was not going to wait till the next week so he painted the monkey cage with the glue but the birds aren’t that dumb so they were sitting on the roof of the Twits Mr twit was about to put sticky glue on the roof of their house when Mrs.Twit caught him and said I will not let you paint sticky glue over our house so they went to bye some guns wile the Twits were out muggle wump (the oldest monkey) had an idea to turn the twits upside down because he wanted to see what the twits think about standing on their heads like the monkeys had to do every day so they stuck all of the furniture on the cirling so that they are going to stand on their heads to be then right way up. Then the Twits got home when two ravens flue over the twits painting some glue on their heads when the twits got inside they thought that they got flipped over so they decided to stand on their heads they were stuck to the floor and stayed their for the rest of their life. the twits by Roald Dahl is a story a about monkeys, rolley poly birds and two horrible people who do terrible things to each other. anything by roald dahl is worth a try. his books are short, quick and fun. would recommend. Show more Show less
