Our Big Month of Books!
Hi everyone! This is our second year of participating in the MS Readathon. We both love reading lots of different kinds of books, together and on our own.
Gus loves reading chapter books and science magazines and really anything at all! He especially likes fantasy and adventure stories, myths and history stories. Some of his recent favourites are Roald Dahl, Harry Potter, Emily Rodda and Hedgewitch stories.
Oscar is learning to read and he reads a lot with others. His favourite authors are Sally Rippin and Emily Rodda (especially the Fairy Realm books). Oscar and his mum have just finished reading the first Harry Potter book together which was very exciting.
We are taking on the MS Readathon challenge again this year! This August we're embarking on a journey of discovery, filled with imagination and adventure for one incredible cause. We're reading as many books as we can in August to raise funds for families living with MS and neurological conditions.
Money raised from the MS Readathon will help fund vital support and services, which include Help Lines available across Australia, MS Nursing, in-home care, speech therapy and physio, Family Fun Days including resources for kids.
